|Saturday our boys swim team claimed the conference championship title by over 40 points. In the process our guys managed to set 4 new conference records and a school record. Of 27 individual performances only 1 did not earn points. Of the 26 that did 21 earned 6th place or better and a spot on the podium.
Glen Brown was on a record setting streak. He won the 200 IM and 500 freestyle. Setting conference records in each of those events.
Asa Sheffer, Connor Hill, Matt Duke and Glen Brown teamed up to win the 200 freestyle relay and set a new school and conference record in that event. The former record (1:32.42) had been standing since 1991. The new record is 1:32.17
The same guys teamed up to win the 400 freestyle relay and set a new conference in that as well. The former time of 3:26.15 had been standing since 1992. The new time is 3:23.77. Three seconds off a 22 year old record is solid performance.
