Multiple Teams · Girls Basketball Twin Lakes Tournament

The Lady Panthers had 3 tough games of Christmas break in the Twin Lakes Tournament.  The Panthers played the host of the tourney Monday the 29th of December.  In a game that was up and down, the Lady Panthers fell to the Twin Lakes Indians 37-55.  Leading scores for the Panthers were Brooklynn Campbell with 18 and Sarah Connolly with 13.  The next morning, the girls squared off against the #5 team in 3A – Evansville Memorial.  The Lady Panthers played with a lot of heart and determination, but fell to Memorial 24-60.  Leading the Panthers in scoring was Clair Lechner with 9 points.  The final game was against a county rival being the Lady Titans of Taylor.  The Panthers played hard, but just couldn’t get the ball through the hoop.  The Panthers lost 32-58.  Scoring for the Panthers were Hayley Mills with 7, Clair Lechner with 8, and Kaylee Penning with 9.  The girls will host the last Howard County Tournament this week and will play Northwestern on Thursday
