Girls Cross Country Wins Sectional Championship

The Girls Cross Country team won the Sectional Championship Saturday in dramatic fashion beating out Maconaquah by 1 points.  Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman Natalie Nicholson finishing in 8th place.  Erin Knepley 13th, Allison McMinn 14th, Reagan Ritchie 15th, Emma Marley 18th, Logan Buck 21st, and Taylor Walden 23rd.  The team moves

Congratulations to the girls cross country team for a job well done at Logansport this past Saturday. The Panthers placed 3rd in the Logansport Invitational. The girls cross country team traveled to Northwestern Tuesday for their first meet of the season. Western finished 2nd in the competition. MIC All Conference Awards

The MIC announced their All Conference Athletes today.  Below are the Western athletes who received All Conference recognition. Boys Cross Country – MIC Team Champions.  Matt Grider, Riley Carter, Caleb Maddox, Auston Davenport, Austin Elliott and Mark Boss. Girls Cross Country Wraps up Season

The girl’s cross country finished their season with a strong showing at the semi-state meet at New Prairie.  Nicole finished her season with a 45th place finish while Erin Knepley finished with a PR time in 65th.  Sam Luginbuhl and Emma Nixon finished in 117th and 121th respectively.  Jama Claxton finished out the top 5 scorers in 163rd.  Cora
